About Course
This course is designed for Grade 8 which demonstrates about the necessity to endeavor the utilization of renewable sources and curtail our effect on the environment. Students become concerned of the requirement to deal with the use of renewable resources so that upcoming generations will also get them for their purpose. This sort of change in way of life will have both positive and negative impacts on economic, political, and cultural sectors along with the impact on the design of products and structures. Students will learn about environmental and external factors that affect individual and community health. The different unit will demonstrate sustainable development, energy conservation, the practice of Green Building Design in the community as well as the calculation of “Foodometer” and their positive impacts in the environment. This is a full course according to Ontario Curriculum and requires a total of 110 hours including lectures, assignments, quizzes and exams.
