Key Features

NIST School Programs

The curriculum for every grade is designed based on the Ministry of Education, Ontario, Canada. The academic program of NIST includes the following grades (Kindergarten to Gr. 12)

Kindergarten

NIST Kindergarten includes Junior Kindergarten and Senior Kindergarten. The Kindergarten includes two years of pre-school learning opportunities as per the curriculum defined by Canadian Ministry of Education. These two years include the basic six courses (Arts, English, Health & Physical Education, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies) as part of the Ontario School Board Requirement along with the additional 5 NIST Hybrid Curriculum courses (Cognitive Skill Development, Computer Literacy, Native Language & Culture, Religion, and Sustainable Environment).

Elementary School

The program ensures that each student has mastered necessary concepts before moving them onto the next grade, keeping them in pace with their peers. NIST’s elementary school will provide students with the knowledge they need to move on to our middle school program. We strongly believe that learning additional languages is essential to prepare a youngster for today’s world. Hence, from Grade 4 onwards, learning of the French Language is made compulsory.

Middle School
The NIST Middle School Education program will prepare students for high school while building upon subjects and concepts they learned in elementary courses. Students take classes that cover mathematics, English language arts and reading, science, history, geography, health, and physical education. Supported by an incredible staff of educators, NIST’s middle school program uses a blend of captivating videos, interactive course materials, and synchronous live online instruction. This engaging instructional format maintains the attention of this age group at NIST.
High School

The NIST High School Education program allows students to graduate with a Canadian accredited diploma from the Ontario Ministry of Education, called the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). In accordance with our vision of disseminating knowledge to others, NIST wishes to execute this vision to the global market by offering students all around the world a strong educational foundation through a Canadian high school diploma. Our graduates are highly successful in their pursuit of higher education in universities and colleges across the globe, including North America, Europe, and Australia.

NIST School Programs

NIST aims to prepare your children for the future by providing them with academic and personal skills. As a result, they will become strong, confident individuals who will positively impact the society and become better human beings.
