SUS00: Sustainable Environment (self-regulation and well-being)

About Course
This course is designed for students at kindergarten under self-regulation and well-being. The course teaches the students to never underestimate the power of nature, for example a tree! As the course continues, the students will learn that trees not only give us an amazing array of paper and wood products, but also trees provide a host of other benefits—from shading the backyards to assisting in the maintenance of the global climate. Students will also be taught that all kinds of people work in the forest, from foresters to loggers, from scientists to naturalists. Everyone depends on properly managed forests for recreation, essential products, and a healthy environment. Students can express their appreciation of trees by planning and carrying out their own tree-planting project. The course will be 12 hours. Teachers will use pictures and video clips to make their learning interesting.
